Trying to make "warhammer" elements

This year i was very interest about the board game, and now i`m buying axis&allies miniatures. This game is not popular here in chile, in fact there is only one store in santiago that still buying booster packs, and i can`t find anyone how play it... anyway i love it, is like a WWII Warhammer, but with more simple rules and a little bit cheaper.


Usualy i play this game with my friends and i have the idea to improve the maps (a paper print in glossy, full of hex with trees, roads and hills on it) adding some "3d" elements(like a real warhammer).



I just start the idea about how to make the trees, the lakes, the hills... (nothing to impresive XP). I pretend to use as raw materials that kind of sponge that someone use to protect the objects when you send something via mail (i have no idea wath is the name of that), glue, and toilet paper, yeah i`m to put all my "art attack" knowledge to make this the best i can hehe.

Ya, algo un tanto diferente a lo que usualmente muestro o hablo en el blog.
Durante este año he estado muy fanatico de los juegos de mesa, y puntualmente en estos meses me ha dado con el AXIS&ALLIES Miniatures. A mi me encanta, es como un WWII WARHAMMER, pero más simple en cuanto a reglas y un tanto más barato a la hora de tener que comprar ejercitos tanto para ti como para tu oponente. Esto se debe a que el juego en si no es muy popular aca en chile, de hecho solo hay una tienda que se mantiene vendiendo booster packs de este juegos, y aun no encuentro a nadie que lo juege además de mi :p

Ahora lo tengo como otro juego de mesa, tengo muchas unidades de aliados y del eje, para que pueda jugar con cualquiera interesado. Ahora juego normalmente con algunos de mis amigos y últimamente me dio por darle a los mapas (mapas impresos con los arboles, caminos, colinas etc..) un toque 3d, como los verdaderos warhammer.
Mis materias primas son pluma-bit (esas como espongas que de embalaje), pegamento y mucho papel de baño jeje, sep, usaré todo mo conocimiento de "artemania" para lograr buenos resultados.

Ahí ire subiendo cosas a medida que salgan jeje.

I re-made the abs details at last!, now i can go on with the clothes without problems.
Ya re hice los detalles del abdomen despues de cambiar su largo y un poco su ancho. Ahora podré comenzar a vestirla.

Another slightly changes in the pose, and i added it the trapezius. The client told me that i need to hurry up with to finish the boobs, so i think is a priority now XD.

Here some pics of the face. he didn`t want too many details so i tried to keep it "anime".

Otros pequeños cambios en la pose y finalmente agregué el trapecio. El cliente me está apurando con hacer los senos finales, ya que es una parte importante jeje, así que lo tendré como una de mis prioridades.

Aquí algunas fotos del rostro que hice. Normalmente de manera indirecta le agrego muchos detalles, pero el cliente quería algo simple, por lo que lo mantube "anime", que de hecho es más apegado al estilo del personaje original.

Segunda Comisión: wip 03

It`s been a while since my last post in my lovely blog XD. One of the reazons of is that i waited almost a month to buy new re-chargable batteries and because i didn`t had nothing new to show XD.

Well, a lot of things had been change. I enlarge the torso about 1cm,i cut the size of the legs a little bit and i changed the pose, all acording to the client specification.

After some changes i think i`m gonna start with th hands and the feets, or paws in this case.

A pasado un tiempo desde que subí mi último post. Principalmente porque no he tomado fotos debido a que no tenía pilas a la cámara y esperé un mes para comprar nuevas, y porque de todos modos no tenía mucho que mostrar. He aprovechado de dedicarle tiempo a otros proyectos, a mi trabajo oficial, y a axis & allies miniatures (ando fanático de esa cosa).

Muchas cosas han cambiado desde la última vez. Me he reunido con el cliente de la figura y a propuesto varios cambios. Principalmente se ha alargado el torso, se ha acortado un poco el largo de las piernas, y se ha cambiado la pose en general.

Apenas esté ok, la figura general empezaré a detallar las manos y los pies.
