Esta es la última comisión que he recibido. Debo hacer una figura de Nyu de elfen lied de unos 25 cm de alto desde la base hasta la parte superior de la cabeza, basada en la figura existente que hay de ella.Esta comisión tiene algunas cosas que las hacen especial. Es una figura enorme en comparación a todas las anteriores que he hecho y por lo que aun no se como trabajaran la masilla en cuanto a peso y resistencia (espero que bien).

This is the last commission that i received. It´s Nyu from the anime elfen lied and i need to make it in a scale of about 25 cm since the base to the top of the head, based from the existing figure that was made of her.
This commission is special. First of all it´s pretty big compared to the rest of my previous sculpts and i don´t no how the clay gonna react with the weight that the sculpt will have(i hope it´s gonna be alright).

Inicié la figura tomando proporciones de dos imágenes de la figura original, una de lado y una de frente. Comencé a armar la parte frontal del torso con ichas medidas y proporciones.

I start the figure taking proportions of two images of the original figure, one taken from the front and the other taken from one side. I make the front of the torso with that proportions.
Ya producido buena parte del torso, noté que la figura es algo pesada.Preocupante considerando que este peso, sumado al de la cabeza, el pelo los brazos y el casco, debe ser sostenido solo por sus piernas y , al esta arrodillada, su centro de gravedad lo hace aun más preocupante.
Es por eso que una vez terminada, la corte en dos y la aguequé, cosa que funcionó excelente para disminuir el peso de la pieza.

When the main part of the torso was done, i notes that the figure turns pretty heavy.That´s a potential problem if we considering that the legs most keep the weight of the torso, plus arms, plus head, plus hair. So i cut the form and reduce the material inside, and i thinks it´s works pretty well.
